Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to help organizations optimize their cloud spend and implement cost governance best practices across Azure or AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud usage data and billing reports to identify optimization opportunities
- Work with engineering and finance teams to implement cost-saving strategies
- Develop tagging policies, budget alerts, and automated reports
- Provide guidance on reserved instances, savings plans, and capacity planning
- Support governance policies for multi-account or multi-subscription environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud cost management or FinOps roles
- Familiarity with Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, or third-party tools like CloudHealth or Apptio
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of cloud architecture and billing structures
- FinOps certification preferred
